Since the grip is the only contact you have with your clubs, the feel and performance of the club is directly related to their condition. One problem is that grips wear out and lose their tacky and comfortable feel. Worn or slippery grips will cause you to clamp down on the club so it won’t slip. This causes unwanted tension in your hands and arms. Another common problem is the size and comfort level of your grips may not be right for you. Their are many different sizes of grips available and many different styles. You will notice that some feel more comfortable than others.
As a general rule, you should have your clubs regripped each season or at the least, every other year. Regripping will definitely make your clubs easier and more comfortable to hold onto and swing. If you’d like to improve your clubs now, call or email us at your earliest convenience. We’ll stop by your golf course, home or work. When? How about tomorrow?
