There’s a gap between the hosel of the clubhead and the ferrule. Have you ever wondered if the head is slipping off the shaft or the ferrule is slipping up? Due to manufacturing imperfections, club-heads can slip and twist their way down the shaft. Most of the time, the head has slipped, especially with woods. The resulting problem is 2-fold. First, the epoxy bond which holds the shaft and head together is weakened and the head could fly off during your swing. Second, the force exerted during your swing can reduce the strength of the shaft tip over time, resulting in poor perfor-mance or a broken shaft. Either way, it’s a nice idea to have Nice Shots repair your club. Call or email and we’ll stop by at your earliest convenience. When? When do you need the work done?
